New feature or functionality

When using Save as painter opens up the last opened folder rather than the folder associated with the file being saved. When using Save as, please could painter open the folder in which file is currently stored.

While working with brushes that can sample multiple colors with the mixer pad, I think it would be useful to be able to sample on the canvas and reference as well

If I want to share a layout file I need to fiddle around trying to find it in AppData. Would be great if I could export and import it from Painter.

Most modes available in Photoshop are also available in Painter, except the Linear Dodge (Add), which is very useful when painting light on a separate layer. Please implement this mode.

At present resizing in Painter is ineffective to those that wish to resize only resolution or width or length independently. For example. If I have an image 12" by 10" at 72 dpi and would like to make it 12" x 12" at 150 dpi I can not.

Would be great to be able to bevel/emboss text, add drop shadow (with ability to move and change opacity and color), add glow, etc. Would eliminate having to go into PS.
