I often find reference images online when painting that I use only temporarily - it would be very useful if we could copy an image from a browser or other source and then paste it directly into the Reference Panel for temporary use. To get an image into the Reference Panel currently, I'd have to save the image, then open it into the Reference Panel which is a couple of steps. Since I can't paste directly into the Reference panel, I tend to copy an image from the browser, then open a new image in Painter (Edit/Paste in New Image), then paste into that for temporary use, and therefore not use the Reference panel at all. Sometimes I do save images for later use, but very often it's just temporary so pasting in the Reference panel would be very fast. But multiple images are useful as well so perhaps there could be tabs at the top.

When the sides of a reference panel are pulled out, the image should size up without the use of the Magnifier. I would also love to see Gray scape preview for reference images. It is more important to have it here than on the Navigator.

I'd add - to be able to make these changes without having to select the icon. ie. not have to click dropper tool (alt key should work if reference panel is selected), then click zoom tool. The shortcuts used in painting document should work in Reference panel.
