One of the things I dislike about Corel Painter is the Export/Save As.
Why can I only Export as Adobe Illustrator? Why, after all these years of using Painter since version 5, can I still not export to file types such as .png or .jpg? Why must I Save/Save As to these file types and run the risk of forgetting which version I am in and risk losing my Master file because I have to Save As.
Just allow your users to Export to these file types. It's such a small and simple thing, but so necessary for designers.
And why can I not Import other file types? Why is the only thing I can import 'Texture'? What's the point of that? I need to import all different file types, not see if Painter will open them and then have to copy them into the file I am working on. Its just so old-fashioned. I tried to do a screengrab of the File/Export/Texture but Painter crashed...
Check out how Affinity Photo works, what files you can export as (most of them) and update Painter (which I LOVE!) so that it works. Check out Inkscape. That's free, and the options Inkscape offers are phenomenal...
And I have hundreds of brushes that I created for Painter that I would like to upload and offer for free to other Painter users - textures, nozzles, gold brushes and nozzles, nature brushes and so much more. But I can't because Corel do not have anywhere that I can upload them. So I recreated many of them in Affinity Photo and uploaded them to the Affinity forum for free download to Affinity Photo (see attached), also the link below.
I would still like to offer my Painter brushes/nozzles/textures to other Painter users. Just give them a forum where they can upload their work (Share Your Work, Tutorials and Resources like in the Affinity forum...

I have many more brushes that I created for Painter, but I have nowhere to upload them to. Give your users a Forum. I don't want them to BUY my brushes. I want to GIVE them away.
