Title says it all. If layer styles are added in PS then one goes back to Painter we get an error message about unsupported effects or layers.

Not only should it be a no-brainer, but Painter is prone to crashing...at least for me on Mac OS Ventura 13. If you don't remember to regularly save manually, you can lose hours-worth of work.
